How does the free trial work?
You get every feature free for 7 days, starting the first time you use an AI feature (like a lesson summary). No card is needed. When it ends, you can subscribe from Settings → Family & plan → Your plan. Your lessons and notes stay in the app either way.
Which ages and subjects is it for?
iStudy works for primary and secondary school students across all subjects. Parents choose each child's year group, and summaries, quizzes and the tutor adjust to it.
Does one plan cover all my children and devices?
Yes. The Family plan covers up to 3 students and every phone, tablet and computer your family uses. Turn on sync with the parent's Google account and the plan follows you everywhere.
Where is my child's data stored?
Lessons, photos and notes are kept on your devices and in your own Google Drive, in a folder called "iStudy". iStudy can only see the files it created. To make summaries, quizzes and tutor replies, the lesson material, chat questions and (for the voice tutor) your child's voice are sent to our AI providers, Google Gemini and OpenAI, which don't use them to train their models. On our side we keep only the parent's email, first names, school year and simple usage counts, never lesson content. Payments are handled by Stripe. See our privacy policy.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Open Settings → Family & plan → Your plan → Manage billing to cancel in a couple of taps. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Do I need to install anything?
No. iStudy runs in the browser on any device. You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
